We are excited to announce that we have an opening in our Clarksburg, MD office for a Senior Financial Compliance Analyst. This position reports into the Manager of Financial Compliance and will interact with other members of the Finance/Accounting team including the CFO.

Responsibilities
Â
- Serve as subject matter expert on FAR/CAS compliance for Thales Defense & Security, Inc.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies (e.g., DCAA, DCMA) concerning financial and related compliance audits
- Prepare forward pricing rate proposal to serve as basis for indirect rates used in proposals; revise as required by changes in the business; support the rates in pre-award and post award audits
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of the annual incurred cost submission, meeting all regulatory requirements
- Continuously review and update CAS disclosure statement for TDSI as needed other TDSI segments, recommending updates to executive management and developing implementation plans for any required changes
- Assist with developing and implementing compliance plans for DCAA/DCMA business systems reviews, for the accounting and estimating system audits
- Work with relevant TDSI subject matter experts to develop and execute corrective action plans for audit findings, ensuring all identified deficiencies are resolved in accordance with regulatory standards
- Provide oversight and guidance to staff at all levels, including reviewing work products, as needed
- Advisor on complex finance decisions including bids/proposals
- Assist with managing internal controls, policies, and procedures; and responses to corporate parent inquiries as needed
- Reports directly to the Manager, Financial Compliance and will interact with other members of the Finance/Accounting team including the CFO

- U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred, MBA a plus
- 5-8 years plus of progressive Financial Compliance experience; mix of government contracting, public accounting and industry (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Strong experience with government contract financial audits (DCAA/DCMA) and FAR/CAS
- Above average written and verbal communication skills required
- Self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team; good presentation skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access)
- Experience with various ERP systems; SAP Finance a plus Â

The annualized pay range for this role is $97,040-$126,255 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above.  TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
