We are looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to join our team in our Clarksburg, MD office. This role serves as a key customer interface for all post‑delivery, aftermarket, and sustainment needs, ensuring timely and accurate support across quoting, order management, and customer communications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, maintain strong product knowledge, and help identify new aftermarket opportunities while ensuring full compliance with export and security requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an interface between the company and its customers for post‑delivery, aftermarket, and sustainment-related inquiries.
- Receive and respond to customer email and phone requests for information, pricing, lead times, and availability of ancillaries and spare parts.
- Prepare detailed and compliant quotations to customer RFQs/RFPs, including pricing, terms, and lead times in coordination with Business Development, Contracts, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
- Track and manage each inquiry and quotation to ensure timely closure and follow‑up.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of company product offerings to support customer discussions.
- Track and manage Defense Logistics Agency/DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website for opportunities
- Support order management by tracking customer schedule requirements and communicating with Operations to facilitate on‑time delivery.
- Maintain CRM (Salesforce), quoting logs, and customer correspondence records in accordance with company processes and audit requirements.
- Monitor customer feedback, recurring issues, and trends to identify new aftermarket opportunities.
- Ensure all customer interactions and quotations comply with applicable export regulations (ITAR/EAR), security requirements, and internal policies.
- Participate in forecasting and revenue planning for aftermarket sales.
- Support customer meetings, program reviews, and audits as required.
Supervisor Responsibilities
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's operating policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities can include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; creating effective staff plans - assigning and directing work in a matrix organization; performance appraisals, rewarding and management of employee discipline when required; and addressing complaints and resolving conflicts. Active mentoring and development of staff is a critical element of the supervisory responsibilities to create a highly performing cohesive team.

- 6-10 Years formal organizational experience or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Experience in a customer service role with preferred experience in a defense or aerospace industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate customer requirements clearly
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented and strong follow-through and accountability
- Proficiency in quoting tools and ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent inquiries with strong organization discipline
- Ability to coordinate in a cross-functional team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
The annualized pay range for this role is $92,674.80 - $118,417.80 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 10%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
